WordHero Rundown (Overview)
If you’re here, I’m guessing you’re already familiar with the basic concepts of WordHero. We’ll go over what the tool is and how you can best use it to help you – no matter what industry you’re in.
This AI writing tool is incredibly versatile and it’s pretty powerful, too.
What is WordHero?
WordHero is an AI-powered writing software. This tool helps you write anything you want or need to, using the power of artificial intelligence.
WordHero can help you write blog posts, articles, essays, novels, Amazon product descriptions, social media posts, YouTube video title ideas, emails, ads, poems, SEO descriptions, and so much more.
It’s up to you how you use WordHero – you can let it write entire articles, or you can use the output it gives you as inspiration when you have a creative block.
Who is WordHero Best For?
This AI content writing tool is great for anyone who needs to write content and wants a process to make it faster.
It’s great for:
- Bloggers
- Freelance Writers
- Affiliate Marketers
- Digital Marketers
- Advertisers
- Authors
- YouTubers
- Posts on Social Media
- Ecommerce Stores
- Quora Answers
- LinkedIn Posts and Bios
… Honestly, the options are seemingly endless.
Basically, if you write stuff and you want help making your writing more interesting or easier, check this tool out.
How Does This AI Content Writer Work?
Without getting too technical and confusing you (or myself haha), WordHero writes using a special kind of AI (artificial intelligence). AKA it’s a robot.
WordHero uses an AI technology called GPT-3, which is a pre-trained language model that uses deep learning to produce human-like text.
And human-like it is! It’s almost kind of scary.
In fact, GPT-3 is so human-like that it can be impossible to determine whether or not it was actually written by a human – which makes it great for marketers who want to save time by letting a robot write for them.
Is it All It’s Cracked Up to Be?
Is WordHero as amazing as it sounds? Yeah, it is.
And I’m saying this from a pretty unbiased perspective: I’ve tested multiple AI-writing tools. Some are better than others, and WordHero is one of the best I’ve tried.
The outputs rarely have to be edited and they don’t sound “fluffy” or lame, compared to some other AI tools I’ve tried.
I know that when I use WordHero, I’m going to get text output that I can actually use (and use proudly) on my website, social media, etc.

Since WordHero is so new, they’re offering two different lifetime deals:
WordHero Lifetime Starter

The downfall to this plan is you don’t get the long-form editor and you have a limit on words.

WordHero Lifetime Pro Deal
This is the plan I have – because I wanted unlimited access!
This plan is $269 one-time payment, and you get unlimited word generation and access to the long-form editor.
This plan gives you access to everything and doesn’t have any limits to how much content you can generate per month.

Is There a WordHero Free Trial?
Unfortunately, no, at this time there isn’t a free trial offered for WordHero.
But the lifetime deals are so inexpensive – I highly recommend snagging one! One payment and you’ll have access for life.
This won’t last long – the other leading AI tools charge monthly.
My Results With the WordHero AI Content Writer
My experience with AI writing tools is getting pretty extensive at this point, and I really like what WordHero has to offer.
My first AI writing tool (and what I’m most familiar with) is Jasper.ai, formerly Jarvis.
Knowing that, I think I have pretty high expectations when it comes to an AI content writer.
But WordHero is a pretty good alternative to Jasper, and at a much better price!
WordHero has a “personal opinion” template that allows you to give it a prompt and it will give you it’s personal opinion.
Here’s what it gave me when I told it to give me an opinion on AI content writers for digital marketers:
“If you’re serious about digital marketing, you need to get serious about AI content writing software. It’s the only way to keep up with the competition and produce high-quality content at scale.”
– WordHero AI
And honestly, it’s not wrong.
What I Like and Dislike About WordHero
The first and most important part of this section is that I LOVE the output I get from WordHero.
I’ve tried other AI-content writers where the text sounds terrible and like it came from a child.
WordHero, on the other hand, produces factual content that’s plagiarism free, free from grammatical errors, and actually sounds like I wrote it.
However, there are a few things I dislike or that I feel like the tool could improve upon.
Commands
Since I’ve used Jasper for so long, I’m used to typing commands into the editor and getting what I need.
WordHero has templates you can use, but you can’t type commands straight into the editor. They may add this in the future, and it’s more of a personal preference. If you’ve never used it, you won’t miss it!
Output Time
WordHero takes a little bit to “think”. Basically, when you hit the button to generate text, it takes a little while before it starts writing.
It’s really only seconds, so again this is personal preference. I’m just used to getting super fast outputs!
Lookback
The WordHero AI has a lookback of 600 characters. Lookback means how many characters/letters the tool can “read” to get context for what to write next.
Jasper has 3,000 character lookback, which is substantially more – and that is what helps it create great content.
Those are literally my only complaints with this tool – and I think that’s saying a lot.
WordHero Templates Overview
WordHero operates with templates: templates are basically types of commands or ways you can use the tool to get it to do what you want.
There are currently 75 templates and the tool is expanding all the time.
Since there are so many templates, I’m just going to cover a few that I use the most and think are the most helpful.
Copywriting Templates
The copywriting templates in WordHero are really helpful when you’re trying to write content that persuades a reader to complete an action.
Whether you’re trying to entice readers to make a purchase, click a button, or sign up for your email list, these templates are so helpful and fun.
- AIDA Template – This stands for Attention, Interest, Desire, and Action. This is a decades-old framework used to encourage conversions.
- PAS Template – This stands for Problem, Agitate, Solution. This copywriting technique is used to alert readers to a problem they may or may not know they had, agitates the problem so they know they need a solution, and presents your product or solution in a way that makes them want to sign up or purchase.
- HSO Template – This template stands for Hook, Story, Offer. This copywriting technique hooks your readers with an attention-grabbing intro, tells them a captivating story, and makes them an offer at the end.
Templates for Bloggers
The blogging templates are the ones I use the most – and for obvious reasons, I’m a marketer who spends a ton of time writing!
I like to use AI tools to help me move my writing along rather than write the whole thing for me, I still like to have some kind of control over my pieces.
Here are the blogging templates I use and think are incredibly helpful for bloggers:
- Blog Outlines – I love using this template to get ideas for subheadings when I’m writing a blog.
- Blog Intros and Conclusions – blog intros and conclusions are my least favorite things to write, but they’re so important! That’s where AI content writers like WordHero come in.
- Blog Paragraphs – This feature expands on a subheading and helps you write or flesh out your blog paragraphs.
Advertising Templates
WordHero has templates for Facebook Ads and Google Ads to help you come up with captivating ad copy when you have no idea what to say. These are really helpful!
Best WordHero Templates for Marketers
- Email subject lines – if you ever struggle with email subject lines that will make people want to open and read, try this.
- Cold and Generic Emails – WordHero generates content for cold emails and generic emails – perfect for outreach or a weekly newsletter.
- Feature to Benefits – A mistake many marketers make is focusing too much on the features of a product rather than the benefits. But the benefits are what sell – so WordHero will convert a list of features to benefits for you.
- Sales Page Templates – this tool has templates for sales page headlines, intros, and call-to-actions
- Quoteable quotes – This is one of my favorites. It generates short, quoteworthy statements for you. Perfect for Twitter or Facebook!
WordHero Templates for Students
WordHero has a few templates that are great for students.
- Content Rewriter – this template rewrites your content in a new, more interesting way.
- Essay paragraphs – Need help writing an essay? WordHero helps generate paragraphs for essays on any topic.
- Grammar corrector – Run your work through the WordHero grammar corrector to check for any errors.
- Sentence expander – The sentence expander template is great to use when you know you need to elaborate more, but you just can’t get there.
Alternatives to WordHero
Clearly, I like WordHero pretty well. But it’s not the only AI content writer on the market! I’ve tried many tools like WordHero, so let’s take a look at some of the top competitors.
Jasper.ai
Jasper.ai (formerly Jarvis, formerly Conversion.ai), is the leading AI writing tool on the internet today.
Jasper is an incredible tool that uses the same GPT-3 AI language processor, but they have other technology that they use to improve their tool and output.
Jasper is my favorite AI content writer because it’s just so powerful and mind-blowing.
Jasper also has a feature called Jasper Art. This is an additional fee but allows you to generate images using AI by giving prompts.
WordHero vs Jasper AI (Jarvis)
The differences between WordHero and Jasper are mainly the pricing and the features.
WordHero has a lifetime deal, and Jasper doesn’t.
However, if you just want a monthly plan, Jasper is cheaper than WordHero starting at $24/mo for their lowest tier.
Their outputs are both very similar, with Jaspers being a bit more advanced and human-like.
As far as features go, it’s a close call. They’re both constantly adding more, but Jasper has more features at the current moment.
I’m going to be honest: Jasper is still my top pick for the best AI content writer on the market. It’s pricey for the full tool or “boss mode”, I pay $60/mo. But it’s worth it!
Jasper might not have a lifetime deal, but they DO have a free trial. Get a Free Trial for Jasper here.
ClosersCopy
ClosersCopy is another up-and-coming AI writing tool that I have a lifetime subscription to. This tool was originally created to help write high-converting sales copy, and it’s turning into an all-in-one AI writing platform.
ClosersCopy uses Frameworks to write content and they have a long-form editor, too.
They have similar features to WordHero and they also have a lifetime deal going on for a limited time only!
WordHero vs ClosersCopy
The differences between ClosersCopy and WordHero are mainly the pricing and the way the tool is structured.
Personally, I find WordHero much more easy to navigate, but that could be because it’s so similar to Jasper and I use Jasper the most.
ClosersCopy pricing starts at $49.99/mo which is almost identical to WordHero at $49/mo
The ClosersCopy Lifetime Deal is $327 total, which you can pay in 3 installments of $109. That’s just a little bit more than tha $268 lifetime payment for WordHero.
The output from ClosersCopy is pretty good, but I think WordHero wins. I have to spend less time editing WordHero output, but they’re both great.
Rytr.me
Rytr is another popular WordHero alternative, but is it worth it?
Rytr.me is an ai-powered content writing assistant that aims to be the cheapest AI writer on the market.
It’s so cheap that the unlimited plan is only $29 per month. They don’t have a lifetime plan, but you don’t really need that when it costs less than $30 per month.
Rytr has 40+ use cases and can generate content in many different ways, from writing blogs to writing copywriting frameworks and more.
WordHero vs Rytr
The main difference between WordHero and Rytr is the pricing and the quality of the output.
Personally, I think their output is comparable.
I’ve had Rytr for well over a year, and WordHero for just a couple of months.
I prefer the user interface of WordHero, but the output is pretty similar.
Here’s an example of each of their outputs for the Problem-Agitate-Solution framework using this prompt:
“AI writing tools help you create high-quality content using advanced artificial intelligence. This helps you save time and beat writer’s block and craft great content your audience will love.”
Rytr output:
“Problem: Writers block is a frustrating and time-consuming process. No one seems to be able to beat writer’s block, and no one can afford writing services all the time.
Agitate: Clear copy is the backbone of your marketing strategy, and if handled poorly, it can completely break your business and dreams of achieving success in life.
Solve: Rytr is an AI writing assistant that helps you automatically generate content for anything — from emails & blogs to ads & social media. With Rytr, content creation becomes a breeze. It can create original, engaging copies for you in just a few seconds. Stop wasting time & money on writing, start using Rytr today!”
WordHero output:
“Pain:You are struggling to write new content for your blog or marketing campaigns every day.
Agitate: Hiring a good writer is expensive, and writing content yourself is time-consuming.
Solution: Use WordHero, our AI writing tool, to create high quality content for you in just a few clicks!”
I’ll let you decide which one you like best for yourself.
WordHero Review Conclusion: Is It Worth It?
WordHero is a high-quality AI writing tool that has over 75 features to help you create great content.
The best thing about this tool, in my opinion, is the lifetime deal!
One payment gets you access to the tool for life – including all future updates and additions.
I can only see it getting better and better as AI improves – so yes, WordHero is definitely worth it.
I’m very happy with my purchase and I’m glad I have this ai content writing assistant in my marketing toolbelt.
